wkspycon
wkspycon is a small, easy to install free software that you can use to be informed of new TCP connections
on your PC: you can therefore be aware if such connections are "legal" or not (for instance somebody
wants to have a look at what you are doing on your PC...).
Usage is very straightforward: launch wkspycons and you'll get the following window

You can choose to be informed when the connections will be closed.
You can also create a list of IP addresses that must be ignored (for instance connections that you know are authorized or listening connections on address 0.0.0.0 or local host connections on address 127.0.0.1). To create the list of ignored connection use your editor, write IP addresses on different lines and save the file with the name "ignore.txt" (example)
To temporarily suspend program activity without closing it, click on the "Suspend" button.

The software is easy to install/remove as you just have to put the executable file in any directory you want and run it. If you don't want it anymore, simply delete it. No mess with OS registry entries!!!
No administrative privileges required to run the software!!!
The software has been developed on Windows XP and it has been tested to correctly run on Windows XP and Vista.
The program DOES NOT run under Windows 95.
For Windows NT, 98, ME and 2000 no compatibility check has been performed and we cannot assure you by no means that it will not give you problems or that it will run at all.
